CONCEPT
The panels are quotes taken from a New York Times video where protestors said their final goodbyes. It is an interactive installation that invites viewers from all backgrounds to be cognizant of what is happening in hong kong and to cherish the relationships we have with one another. There is a yellow umbrella (the symbol of the Hong Kong protests) that people can take up and see what it is like to be a part of the protests. Step into someone else’s shoes and empathize.
INTIAL SKETCHES
I changed my design from this initial sketch, once I watched the New York Times video of protestors saying their last words/final goodbyes.
